Dover District Council signs new partnership with TechnologyOne
The edge of a new frontier for Dover District Council
10 May 2019 - Dover District Council, home of the iconic White Cliffs of Dover, has chosen to implement TechnologyOne Financials as part of its systems modernisation programme and to increase service resilience via the Government’s G-Cloud procurement platform.
The Council will implement the TechnologyOne Financials software, as part of an integrated OneCouncil enterprise solution, providing a platform for innovation and improvement across its finance functions. The move to a true SaaS solution will allow the council to be always on the latest software release and no longer shackled to old versions of software and costly enforced upgrades.
“We were impressed with both TechnologyOne and its OneCouncil enterprise SaaS solution because of the system’s modern look and ease of use, the features that will allow us to enhance our finance function, and because we felt TechnologyOne had the expertise to support us in making the most of our investment,” says Helen Lamb, the Council’s Head of Finance & Housing.
“During the evaluation process we were able to meet with some of the team in order to get the surety we needed in advance.”
Implementing TechnologyOne’s integrated SaaS solution will enable the council to overhaul its financial, procurement, business intelligence and budgeting capabilities. Financial information and expenditure will be easily tracked and dynamic reporting can be accessed for real-time decision-making.

Dover District Council provide services to Dover, Deal, Sandwich and surrounding areas with a population of over 110,000.
