TechnologyOne bucks negative HR and payroll trend
TechnologyOne (ASX: TNE) has announced 12 new Human Resource and Payroll (HRP) customers will go live in July, offering a beacon of hope in a sea of competitors’ failing payroll projects.
The Australian enterprise software company has beaten companies including SAP and Oracle to win 30 customers in the last 12 months alone, including Victorian-based Benetas as a standalone HRP contract.
TechnologyOne HRP delivers a complete human resource management system that allows organisations to manage all employees based on their individual requirements.
It provides innovative reporting capabilities that allows managers to make decisions in real time.
TechnologyOne HR and Payroll General Manager, Paul MacRae, said advancing technology and new and innovative solutions drove the company’s success.
“Many of our competitors’ systems are based on old and inefficient technologies such as Uniface, COBOL, AS400 and Oracle Forms, which do not offer the flexibility to take an organisation to a stage where employees can access their relevant functions via any device on any browser,” Mr MacRae said.
“TechnologyOne flies in the face of these systems, providing a sophisticated and date-effective payroll system that is enterprise-ready, with a suite of HR capability and analytics that focus on what an organisation needs to manage its biggest resource,” he said.
Differentiating it from other solutions on the market, TechnologyOne HRP integrates with the software developer’s enterprise suite, which includes Financials, Budgeting, Business Intelligence and Asset Management.
“Being able to offer software integration with Financials means organisations need far less effort to close out periods, as the system is balanced in real-time,” Mr MacRae said.
“Whereas most payroll managers will spend a considerable amount of time processing and massaging financial data to then enter it into non-integrated financial systems, TechnologyOne HRP allows for easy, streamlined information capture,” he said.
TechnologyOne Executive Chairman Adrian Di Marco said HRP solutions represented a significant area of potential growth for TechnologyOne, both within its existing customer base and with new customers.
“The success of our HRP solution is important, as it delivers on our enterprise vision to develop, implement and maintain our software, simplifying our customers’ IT infrastructure and streamlining operations using our proven business processes,” Mr Di Marco said.
